Our Vision

To empower persons with disabilities (PwDs) by fostering sustainable, inclusive, and community-based rehabilitation strategies, ensuring their equal participation in all spheres of life and enhancing their overall quality of life and well-being.

Our Mission

The Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Varanasi, under the administrative control of PDUNIPPD and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, is committed to:

• Providing comprehensive, need-based rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities (PwDs), particularly in Uttar Pradesh.
• Building infrastructure and developing human resources to support inclusive education, healthcare, and community-based initiatives.
• Serving as a nodal resource centre offering specialized services such as early identification and intervention, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, physical medicine, psychological support, prosthetics and orthotics, and speech, language & audiology services.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, NGOs, and institutions to enhance service delivery and advocacy for disability rights and inclusion.
