Special Screening of Taare Zameen Par for Children with Disabilities Organized by CRC Varanasi

Varanasi, 16th July 2025 — Under the administrative control of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (Divyangjan), New Delhi, the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Varanasi organized a special screening of the acclaimed film Taare Zameen Par for children with disabilities at IP Cinema, IP Sigra Shopping Mall, Varanasi.

The program, held on Wednesday, 16th July 2025 at 12:00 PM, aimed to promote awareness, sensitivity, and inclusion regarding disability in society. By presenting a film that beautifully portrays the challenges and strengths of children with learning differences, the event encouraged participants and the larger community to adopt a more empathetic and inclusive outlook.

Approximately 50 children with disabilities, accompanied by their parents and staff members from Abhaydeep Divyang Vidyalaya, Marui (Sindhora Road), Varanasi, took part in the event.

This initiative reflects CRC Varanasi’s ongoing commitment to raising awareness and fostering social integration of persons with disabilities through meaningful outreach activities that combine education, culture, and social engagement.
