Speech and Hearing
The Speech and Hearing Unit provides comprehensive clinical services for individuals with hearing and communication disorders. The department evaluates, diagnoses, and treats people with a variety of speech, language, and hearing impairments — both with and without hearing loss.
The unit also prescribes and fits hearing aids for those diagnosed with hearing disorders and offers therapy for individuals with speech, language, voice, literacy, and fluency difficulties.
The major objectives of the Speech and Hearing Unit are to:
