Camp Organized on the Occasion of Kartavya Diwas

The Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC), Varanasi, in collaboration with the Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra, organized an assistive-device distribution camp under the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana on 17 September 2025 at the CRC Varanasi centre.
At the camp, approximately 100 beneficiaries received assistive devices to support mobility and daily living. Distributed items included:
- Walkers
- Braces
- Collars
- Wheelchairs
- Crutches
- Commode chairs
- Walking sticks
The programme was honoured by the presence of Dr. Sunil Patel, MLA, Rohaniya, Varanasi, who attended as Chief Guest and personally handed over the assistive devices to the beneficiaries.
This initiative aims to empower persons with disabilities and senior citizens by improving their independence and quality of life through access to appropriate assistive devices.
