Under the administrative control of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (Divyangjan), New Delhi, the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Varanasi organized a special screening of the film “Taare Zameen Par” for children with disabilities on Wednesday, 16th July 2025 at 12:00 PM at IP Cinema, IP Sigra Shopping Mall, Varanasi.

The objective of the event was to promote awareness, sensitivity, and inclusion regarding disability in society. By showcasing a film that highlights the unique challenges and strengths of children with learning differences, the event aimed to encourage a more empathetic and inclusive community outlook.

Approximately 50 children with disabilities, along with their parents and staff members from Abhaydeep Divyang Vidyalaya, Marui (Sindhora Road), Varanasi, participated in the program.

This initiative was part of CRC Varanasi’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness and foster social integration of persons with disabilities through engaging and impactful outreach activities.
